BIO

Dorothy Koch (she/her) is a Director of Research at RW Jones Agency. With a background spanning higher education program planning and compliance, market research, and strategic consulting, Dorothy excels at translating qualitative and quantitative insights into actionable strategies that drive organizational impact.

Dorothy holds a Master of Arts in Linguistics from San Francisco State University and a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from the University of Baltimore.

Before joining RW Jones, Dorothy served as an independent consultant, partnering with organizations across industries to refine their business strategies through competitive and market intelligence. Prior to that, she held leadership roles in research and insights, spearheading initiatives to enhance audience engagement and organizational decision-making.

Passionate about building community, Dorothy serves as a board member and weekly volunteer at the Radcliffe Room at New York Avenue Presbyterian Church, a program dedicated to serving D.C. residents experiencing homelessness, and is a leader in DCRunCrew, a running group focused on fostering connection and mental health through friendship and exercise.

Dorothy lives in Washington, D.C., with her cat, Melvin, and can often be found training for her next race, attending ballet classes, learning something from a podcast, reading a novel, or listening to Melvin tell her a story.
