Morgan Aguilar (she/her) is an account manager at RWJ specializing in internal communications, DEI communications and media relations. Since joining RW Jones in 2023, Morgan has helped clients launch and maintain institution-wide newsletters, written speeches and talking points for campus leaders, and led the development and execution of national media relations strategies. She also led internal communications for the months-long rollout of a new Human Resources Information System on a client campus and implemented a membership recruitment strategy for a national membership organization. 

Morgan joined the agency after four years at the University of Utah, where she served first as a communications specialist in the central communications office and then as the marketing and communications manager for student affairs. Morgan began her career in local TV news as an anchor, producer, and reporter in Idaho and New Mexico before moving to Utah to ski and transition to a career in communications.

Morgan has a bachelor’s degree in broadcast journalism with a minor in women’s studies from the University of Colorado and a master’s degree in public administration from the University of Utah. She is a passionate social justice advocate and works to ensure more minoritized individuals have access to the transformative experiences that come with attending a higher education institution.

Morgan, her partner, Kyle, and their two cats, Luna and Milo, live in Cincinnati.
